Jacques Schnier’s sculptures and works on paper emphasized form, and incorporated rhythmic design and a purity of line, setting a standard for the Art Deco aesthetic. He became known as one of America’s most creative Modernists, and one of the nation’s finest direct carvers. We are pleased to present sculptures, ink wash and graphite drawings by this Art Deco master.
A color brochure of the exhibition is available upon request.
