Winter 2015
We are pleased to present three highly diverse artworks for your consideration this holiday season.
First, Mac Harshberger’s art was quintessentially Art Deco, and Brenny as Native American is a great example of that 1930s aesthetic. Second, being almost muralesque in proportion, Arthur P. Koch’s Perseus and Andromeda tells the haunting Greek myth of Perseus who saves Andromeda from the sea monster in order to claim Andromeda in marriage. And finally, the third artwork we present is Carl Thorp’s Gold Mine, Mother Lode – featuring high key colors in the context of a Modernist landscape.
